Everything went very well. Griffin wasn’t keen on getting a tutor and wasn’t looking forward to it at all. David was very engaging from the minute he walked in. Griffin is 14 and 6’2″ but not at all athletic. David asked if he plays basketball. When Griff said he doesn’t play sports but prefer video games, David immediately started connecting with him over video games. I listened a little during the session to hear how encouraging David was which isfantastic as one of Griff’s biggest hurdles is lack of confidence. After David left he agreed he was very nice and that :it wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be.” Trust me, that ir a rave review in the world of Griffin.
