Thank you so much for hosting Oscar’s birthday party yesterday. We had an absolute blast, and I know all of the guests did too! A few parents reached out afterwards and said that it was the first virtual birthday party they’d attended and the were super impressed with how well it went and how much fun it was. Tutor Teach did a wonderful job leading Oscar’s party – he went to bed a very happy, tired 8 year old boy
Tutor Teach is awesome. My kid is not always quick to warm up to new people (particularly by zoom) but he jumped right in and was so engaged.
Thanks for paying attention to his likes and building that into the lessons. I also love all of the positive reinforcement – he thrives on that. So glad we found you!
She did have a great time and all her friends loved it. I was a bit nervous as most really didn’t enjoy zoom for school but they were all so engaged. Sounds like a neighbour booked a party after hearing how the kids liked it. It’s a great idea and I’m thankful for the option
I was really pleased with today’s session. Asher seemed to warm up to Stefan quickly – sometimes he gets shy and doesn’t come out of his shell – this wasn’t the case today. They played a game with writing sentences and Asher explained it fairly well to us once Stefan left. It was nice to see Asher trying to read with Stefan and how his attitude was much different than trying to read with us. He was eager and didn’t give up if he didn’t know the word.
Tutor Teach has been a lifesaver for my son in Grade 12. With the new quarter system there is no time to recover if you fall behind. His weekly sessions with Josh provided great review and always looking ahead at the next units. His science and math marks have never been better …honestly! I highly recommend Lara and her team.
Thanks for the cooking class today. Here is a pic of the last item – Greek salad – that Reid completed. He enjoyed the class. The recipes were really tasty.
